I worked with Michael on a case that lasted nearly 3 years and always felt up to date on the latest information. Michael Harman was the absolute BEST! He was kind. He was caring. He LISTENED. He allowed me to be irrational, emotional, reactionary and then he would talk me down and explain everything to me. He kept me sane during what seemed like the most insane time and something I just couldn’t understand what or why it was happening. He was truly a light in a dark tunnel. I am not sure I could have gotten through the past year without him. He was a rock in a trap of quicksand and he saved me and I am not sure he knows that but he did. Michael took on an EEOC claim I filed and did an excellent job from negotiating to settlement. He kept me updated along the way even if he was just waiting for a response from the employer that was taking a while so that I wasn’t left in the dark.
He’s always friendly and pleasant to deal with and given that I live 90 minutes away and we’re in the midst of a pandemic, it was very convenient that documents and forms were able to be sent or completed electronically.
He guided me through the settlement process and was able to secure a better settlement than I was prepared to accept based on where negotiations began.
